Thought Field Therapy

Thought Field Therapy was developed in the USA by leading clinical psychologist Dr. R. Callahan, who was frustrated with established methods and slow results. The technique employs a totally new approach in dealing with psychological and emotional problems and has been tested and researched over two decades.

Thought Field Therapy (TFT) clears blockages in the ‘meridian system’ (familiarised by Chinese acupuncture), by tapping lightly on acupuncture points in specific sequences.

There is no need for needles or other invasive means as the tapping releases negative emotions from deep in the body’s electromagnetic energy field – eliminating them at their very source.

A typical session would be as follows:

The person would be asked to think about the disturbing issue and to rate it on a scale from 0 to 10. A number 10 implies extreme disturbance with 0 meaning no disturbance at all. Whilst thinking about the problem, the client would be shown where to tap on themselves using a specific sequence of tapping for their particular issue. What is experienced in the majority of cases is that the numbers will reduce down to 0 in less than 5 minutes and the client will report feeling better immediately and with no disturbed feelings when thinking about the previously debilitating problem. Some complex conditions may have a number of aspects to them which need to be resolved, but most conditions can be easily, rapidly and permanently cured within a very short period of time.

TFT has now proven highly effective for countless people world-wide—such as those suffering from job-burnout, overwhelm, loss of loved ones, fears and phobias, trauma of accidents and physical violence, depression and many other of life’s challenges.
